Vana-Viru 15 is a historic green wooden building in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town, dating back to the end of the 19th century. This unique building has witnessed the city's life and the changing of the ages, and has a remarkable cultural value.
It was in this house that Oskar Luts lived and wrote when his beloved work "Spring" was born - a work that is a treasure of Estonian literature and has an enduring place in our cultural heritage.
In this mysterious green wooden house, originally built as the Oppermann Pharmacy, one of Estonia’s most beloved authors, Oskar Luts, once worked. Within these very walls, part of his renowned novel “Spring” was born — a work that has become a treasured classic of Estonian literature and holds a lasting place in our cultural heritage.
On November 1, 2024, a new story began in this unique building – Aamen opened its doors, a restaurant and entertainment venue where history meets modern lifestyle, great music, high-quality Asian and European cuisine, and a distinctive atmosphere.
